Medics, firefighters and a hazardous materials team investigated a possible case of the deadly Ebola virus in a Virginia suburb close to Washington, D.C., on Thursday, local media reported.

No definitive diagnosis has been made at this point, according to local outlet ARLNow.com. The local emergency department for Clarendon typically sends Ebola responders when a sick person has a travel history and symptoms consistent with the virus, it said, adding that the sickness is unlikely to be Ebola.
